2008 Spring Mixed League Rules                                          

1)     All league players must be Pickleball Club members paid up for 2008.

 2)     League fee is $2.00 and must be paid before a player’s first match.

 3)     Matches must be played on Tuesdays between 3 and 6 PM. They may not be rescheduled to a different day or time. (See rainouts below.)

 4)     Substitutes may be used when a player is unable to play. Anyone may be used as a substitute, except that two men may not be partners. The sub will not receive win/loss points. Non-league club members who would like to sub may sign up on the Sub List at the courts.

 5)     Play best of 3 games to 9 points each (winning by 2).

 6)     Rainouts: We’ll extend the league an extra week(s).

 7)     Time of play: All players should play at the time scheduled. Exceptions must be cleared by Karen.

 8)     Dropouts: We will try to fill spaces left by dropouts. If no permanent player will commit, subs will be used to finish out the season.

 9)     Disputes: Check with the Rules Committee to resolve any disputes.

 10) Awards: Most wins to top 1/3 of field of men and of women.
